David was born in Purworejo, 1 February 1992. David’s love for the visual world takes David to study videography in Faculty of Fine Art and Design, Tarumanegara University.
Started from interning in 2013 to finish his college undergraduate thesis, David collaborated with WWF-Indonesia to cover the Javan rhino issue in Ujung Kulon by making a documentary film. Various activities that charged with Javan rhino conservation issues from 2014-2017 are well documented through his camera. Javan rhino is a special species for David because it led him to a new hobby in wildlife world and accompanying along his ambition journey.
Working in the wild has become his passion. It does not only contain his hobby for traveling, but also his passion for recording new place, new people and stories that lead to new discoveries that bring wonders to David.
If Javan Rhino Expedition is fire, then Indonesia is the fuel. Everything has been placed completely, how the stories of the local people’s spirit that can “light” inspiration and help reveal the natural richness and this nation’s culture to the world.
