Our Plan

• Production

UKNP is the last fort for the remaining 68 Javan rhino individuals. Expedition team will be conducting the trip into the core habitat zone in national park for 15 days, deploying the modified camera trap, and using several methods to encounter the Javan rhino. The documentation process will be conducted properly to nature so it can minimize the disturbance towards Javan rhino in its natural habitat. Following the end of the expedition, team will document the inspiring stories in the buffer zone area; the villages around UKNP, to introduce the conservation effort from the local communities and the government.

• Post Production

The JRE team will pack the product of the expedition into 2 outputs:

1. Photo journal book

Providing the journey and inspiring stories from the conservationists

2. Film

Providing the plot effort of encountering the Javan rhino, facts within, and the initiative effort and programmatic effort from the conservationists and the government for the Javan rhino conservation.

• Exhibition

The exhibition will not only become the responsibility from the creator to the people, but also act as an effort to remind the Javan rhino conservation issues.

The photograph and video exhibition will be held in urban area and Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, to raise the awareness of the highly active usage of social-media urban communities and hoped to reach more regarding this issue to the world.

The exhibition will be filled by various sector of local communities’ culture, culinary, and entertainment, that as a proper approach to communicate this issue.
